All the scenes with Major Strasser and other Nazis were cut out. Victor László became Victor Larsen, a Norwegian nuclear scientist. Captain Renault became Monsieur Laponte and was from Interpol. Casablanca was cut of 25 minutes and was a harmless romance. Only 1975 German TV aired a new (correct) synchro.

Well Doug I can tell you what I know : this many movies with the color of course not are current, many years ago the three Italian stations TV called TMC (now LA7), RAI, RETEQUATTRO, acquired unfortunately many of these movies, and I suppose maybe for many movies not have the original version in black and white but only these.
