Of course, in naming the studios after (I like to think) all three filmmaking Kordas (including Rózsa’s great friend, art director Vincent), the folks in Hungary have given their facility a decidedly un-Hungarian name, since "Korda" was an invention of Alexander's (from the Latin expression, Sursum Corda, "Lift up your hearts," also the title of Korngold's symphonic overture, Op 13, that the composer plundered nineteen years later for themes for his ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD score).

The Kordas of Budapest, London and Hollywood were, in actuality, Kellners.
