Yes, a generational thing. I remember that Tony Thomas called him Mikki, as did David Raksin. Of course, both men were older than I, and Raksin was more or less a contemporary of MR. It would never have occurred to any of us in my generation to say anything but Dr. Rozsa. Can't recall how Christopher Palmer addressed the maestro. Christopher was of my own generation but was of course much closer to the man than I.
