In this picture ?  for example it's particular see work togheter two great MGM's actors like Granger and Taylor

The collaboration between Rozsa and the Korda's brothers is something of perfect, Rozsa understand very well with his music the Korda's spirit, something of magic and very fascinating 

KISS BLOOD ON MY HANDS (1948)

now I see for the first time this movie, very great but very hard (almost nasty for this) here burt lancaster is great, he have the face (and also a personal experience when he was young about what mean the hard life) maybe also him would be great for the Ben Hur's part. And the Rozsa's score, a great music, rich, very present in the movie. These are the differences about and between the film music sometimes or often simple, on background and the great score like this
