I was curious to see how the Zador was received in the American Record Guide (ARG), where Mark Koldys does some reviewing (not enough!). ARG can be accessed via EBSCO databases through your library. I see that Zador II was reviewed in July by "Estep" with somewhat less enthusiasm: "Attractive and enjoyable but lacking in substance . . . sound like background music." Of course Miklos Rozsa used to receive similar press. Decide for yourself. I like the Zador pieces and am grateful that we finally have some better recordings than the ghastly Nuremberg thing.
