Jm Breig apparently never sleeps. He's just sent us this:
"'Friday Night Is Music Night' on the BBC has again entered the world of Miklos Rozsa, but in an odd manner. The theme of the night, a repeat from three years ago, is music associated with Shakespeare. The narrator remarks that MR wrote music for 'Julius Caesar' and then introduces actors who perform short pieces from 'Antony & Cleopatra' and 'Julius Caesar.' But, says the narrator, MR hit his Roman stride with 'Ben-Hur.' So the orchestra plays the overture and love theme.
The MR portion begins at about one hour, 25 minutes into the program(me) and can be heard here:

People have a week to listen.
Maybe the MR group should discuss what composer should provide the music for the new 'BH.' Whoever it is, the result will be a sacrilege."
