Yes, the insertion of an apostrophe plus "s" to indicate the plural has turned into something of an epidemic in the U.S. (although it may just be that the internet has merely revealed how many Americans are afflicted with this misconception), and it does drive me slightly crazy, but it hardly constitutes a "howler," especially since the description of the concert on the German orchestra's website was obviously written by someone whose mother tongue is not English -- so he or she gets a pass.

As for "foreward," that little red line under the word when written on this website, or in a Word document should suggest to the writer that all is not well in spelling-land.  Unfortunately, what a spell-checker will not indicate is the difference in spelling and meaning between the two distinct words forgo, and forego.
