Well it is not exactly a *poll* ... Way too many films involved to make a poll.

Of course some of the lower votes are far beyond a sensible statistical treshold. (Any of the film rankings under 200 / 300 votes are certainly totally interchangable.)

And a uncertainty of few hundred votes seem sensible. But still the difference between Ben-Hur and King of Kings reflects almost exactly the enourmous sales differences between the two Rhino CD releases.

Third there is a story I like to share about an obscure British picture. I only knew about two who ever saw it because they got the British Film Institute (BFI) to pull a print for them.

Then I found a commentary on the IMDB who made a quite positive comment about the film. So I asked him about and indeed got a reply. The gentlemen saw the film on TV in Australia in 1964 and still remembered it. So you never know.

"Gesucht: Monika Ertl" is AFAIK a documentary about a German born Bolivian terrorist. Certainly reused music.
