I can't argue against a certain sameness in Ifukube's music. It is mostly permeated by the rhythms and harmonies of songs and dances of the Aino, the aboriginal people of Hokkaido, much as the Hungarian influence in Rózsa's music. Anyway, I think A.I.'s music is characterized by distinct phrases, unlike the piece under discussion.
