And sadly Rozsa doesn't register highly enough as a classical composer. The "film composer" label is certainly stuck on him. (Same with Herrmann).

The Korngold phenomena ... I think the tide turned when Charles Gerhardt did his legendary "Sea Hawk" then the Leinsdorf "Tote Stadt" did wonders for his credentials as classical composer. The nineties and the centenary did the rest and now he is perhaps recarded as the last advocate of the old Vienna.
