'Sodom wasn't a stinker, it was merely an above average "spear and sandal" import. If you were at Fox at the time, you may recall the film was supposed to open as a roadshow attraction, and then was wide released (I think under the "showcase" banner). I love "The Vip's," a wonderfully romantic soaper. Harryhausen made worse films than "Golden Voyage," but I still find it incomprensible, as I do "The Power." All of the films you mentioned have one common denominator: Rozsa's music. I've sat through many a stinker (paying to do so in their original release) only because of the composer.
