Actually "Messengers of Jehovah," "Children's Game" and "The Dam" have superior sound on the new Digitmovies release.

For "The Dam" I superimposed the choral (thinner-sounding) BMG version over the fuller-sounding orchestral version on the Italian release using my Nero Soundtrax wave editing program: it's a perfect match (time-wise) and the results yield the best of both worlds. (I'll give a more complete posting on how to master the score for personal CD-R use, using both the BMG and Digitmovies CDs, in a few days... I also found a 40-second court dance (from my S&G laserdisc, about 15 minutes into the film) that's completely free of sound effects and which goes into a repeat just before a scene change. I completed the repeat by copy-and-pasting, then faded out the piece and re-equalized it so that it is as close to the rest of Digitmovies' tracks as possible. There's also a few bars on the laserdisc that complete "Messengers of Jehovah" and aid in the segue to "Free Again." But as I say, I'll give a more complete report in a few days.)

The final third of Digitmovies' "Dance of the Twins" is an alternate take of what the BMG release calls the "Dance of the Sinners," so you'll require both versions for a complete compilation.
