Keep it up, George, and you're going to have to write those liner notes after all :)

You know, I've seen this movie three times, and I confess that I honestly can't remember the thing. A girl steals out of a late-night party, rides out in the desert, and there's a lot of bickering about salt (salt?) and a dam. Then there's a rather tacky earthquake or something. Oh, yes, I recall a descending gate or curtain of curious design. The film has never bothered me all that much. KORT and KOK have always seemed more offensive. Unlike those films, S&G does not traduce great literature or muck around with the core of Jewish or Christian faith. It has little to do with the biblical story and in fact doesn't seem have much of anything on its mind.

Jack Smith's comment was in reference to the booklet, but it's a succinct evaluation of the film as well: "plenty of biblical babes."
