I wrote something earlier, but, since,I forgot to CTRL-C it, I lost it, for I hadn't logged in properly. :\

I was just stating that it seems like you spent a helluva lot of time compiling information about a specific score, and I am not sure (at least to me) that it's worth that much time given the relative "sameness" of the quality of the sonics involved in the various sources.

I just wanted to proclaim that the time Mr. Komar's spent compiling information about S&G was worth it. I loved what he wrote. Does the fact that one person, and I assume others too loved what he did too, does this make Mr. Komar's effort's worthwhile? Mr. Komar's work even helped me out, so, Firefox isn't that kind of help worth something?

Oh, but you've said it shouldn't be worth that much time due the relative sameness of the sound. For a moment, let me expand on this argument. "That music sounds the same, so why do they waste time listening to it? It sounds all the same, so why do they waste time by even liking it? Why? Because sound is such a huge part of music. Differences in sound, even small perceived differences, can have a "relative" large impact on an individual, so minor improvements can become significant.

I prefer to compare obsessing over soundtrack music with helping out and caring for others, and because of that, I don't have as much free time as I'd like regarding my personal possessions, like my music library.

I prefer not to compare the ways in which we can help others? Why should we compare them? Are you helping others in order to obtain some type of brownie points? If you are, keep helping others but note that an all brownie diet could be lethal to your health. Btw, I hope your friends in the hospital are doing better. I'm not going to write that your time spent doing various things (including hospital visits) was somehow lacking in the "worth" department because that should be your own choice to make.
