But 2 to 6 staves is minimal indeed for a full orchestral piece. He may say 'violins' but how many for a particular passage? Many instruments overlap in their registers. If you dig out his orchestral long scores, he uses more staves than that.

My original point wasn't 'What would Rozsa sound like if re-worked by Zador?' but rather, 'Hey, maybe all the Rozsa film stuff we hear already HAS been gone over by Zador, so should we be so purist?'
