No. Rozsa did not conduct the Ben-Hur and El Cid suites with the Hollywood Bowl for LP release. Those suites on the misleadingly titled CD "The Movies Go to the Hollywood Bowl" on EMI/Angel are from the Capitol Records LP ST-2837 which originally included the Quo Vadis and King of Kings suites and which was reissued on LP Angel ST-2837 and again on Cloud Nine, which identified the orchestra as the Nuremberg Symphony. The Ben-Hur, El Cid and King of Kings suites were also reissued on a 1996 Angel Records CD and all four suites were recently issued on the 2004 DRG CD. Whether all this is clear is another matter!
I've never heard of a CD of John Maurceri conducting a suite from Ben-Hur.
