Lighten up men.

I postulated for ages that a 'nautical' CD compilation would be a great project, and this will certainly SELL. You really, really WON'T come into the real world about recordings. The recording industry doesn't exist to just interest a few collectors. It's there to sell product, and to showcase this music for new generations too. THOUSANDS of children (I know some of them) are buying 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and this will give many people a chance to hear the OLD masters alongside the new. That can only be good.

You guys are like University postgrads who think money shouldn't be spent on undergraduate courses.

As regards Elmer Bernstein, the notes on the site, which Paul hasn't obviously read before he calls them sloppy, clearly tell us it's 'The Buccaneer'.

Mr. Kunzel has an agenda and it's a good one .... to mix the old with the new and showcase all generations of film-music. Use your testosterone in more fruitful ways.
