<And I, too, share a certain fascination with the relentlessly Erotic Miss Laffan. Hers are among the best scenes in the film, especially her reactions as Peter Ustinov's Nero commences to sing.>

My favorite Patricia Laffan role was as the po-faced Nyah in the unintentionally hilarious "Devil Girl From Mars."

The idea of an exotic-looking alien woman from Mars travelling to earth all dressed up in fetish-looking black leather looking for human males to mate with certainly makes for a guilty pleasure. Seen today the film is even more hilarious then when I first saw it back in the mid fifties.

The film sports a serviceable score by British composer Edwin Astley who wrote the themes for such British TV series as "The Saint" and "Danger Man." He also wrote music for the British TV series "Ivanhoe."
