Laffan had a brief, but pivotal, role in "Twenty Three Paces to Baker Street," and was an interesting lead in "Hidden Homicide," playing a very intelligent - and for once - nice person. Both "23" and "Hidden" had themes of transvestism, and were pretty matter of fact about it.
