The management obviously wants to bring the hall's interior into line with its exterior. For those who haven't heard, a temporary "sock" was placed over the building because the sun's glare off the Frank Gehry-specified titanium "scales" that sheathe it was heating up the interiors of adjacent structures to uncomfortable levels. The plates have since been sandblasted to reduce their reflectivity, though I suspect that hasn't proven an adequate solution.

As for DOUBLE INDEMNITY, as Walter Neff and Lola Dietrichson can attest, it always sounds back from the top of a hillock overlooking the Hollywood Bowl.
