Okay, two things to which to reply.

First, Günther, the subject bar was a play on words. I was using "amis," French for "friends" (referring to Mr Blackmoor and Mr Seckerson). So, obviously, I was saying that Kingsley Amis (whose name is spelled the same, but pronounced differently) had nothing to do with it (I hope that's clear).

As for Mr Blackmoor, I was wondering if you might persuade Mr Seckerson to inquire (insofar as he has any influence) as to whether the BBC still has in its archives tapes or transcription discs from a 1940 broadcast of Rózsa's music from Korda films. It included the deleted Djinn's Song, from THE THIEF OF BAGHDAD, as well as pieces, including the Waltz, from THE FOUR FEATHERS that no longer exist apart from the film's composite (dialogue-music-effects) soundtrack.

I have a poor-quality audiotape of this, but if something better might be acquired, it'd be of great benefit to those of us who might like to assemble a recording of THE FOUR FEATHERS that's as extensive as possible.
