Devastatingly sad news that Lukas Kendall is to close down the FSM label in Spring 2012 after the 250th release. FSM is the very last label which I would want to see come to an end. It's long been my favourite label because no one other than LK has given such prominence to Golden Age scores. I have more FSM CDs than any other label and regret that there will be no more. From what Lukas says, he also seems to have become disenchanted with what sells nowadays; Quote: "something strange and a little sad has happened in the last two to three years (since the ’08 recession): ’80s and ’90s scores are the only sure sellers, Silver Age scores sell like Golden Age scores used to, and Golden Age scores barely sell at all".
We Rozsaphiles will, of course, be eternally grateful for Lukas for providing all those wonderful Rozsa discs.
