Quote:Look men, if you click on the FSM link that I provided above to Ron's post, as opposed to just the Telarc link, you'll get the timings as provided by a distributor. 'Plymouth Adventure' is about 5 mins. or so, and is listed as 'The Mayflower' not the suite. It probably ends with a choral treatment of the hymn.

Quote:Regardless, I just listened again to verify...and there's definitely no chorus on "The Mayflower from Plymouth Adventure" Lots of sweet brass flourishes, though. There's a "hymn-like" motif played on low brass...and then high strings, which certainly could have been written for voices. Yes, sir. Definitely no voices here. Sounds like the chorus parts have been adapted for orchestra.

Quote:Tj, do you have the OST for the Plymouth Adventure? Stop buying those Kunzel discs and go get the real thing. Now, the orginal version of the Mayflower doesn't have a vocal part, but the main theme for the score is based on a vocal part, that bieng the following Pslam, "God Bless Jehovah thankfully, for his mercy continueth forever."
