It's good to be back. I am just now reinstated to "my own" Forum, having been locked out for a week by a glitch in the Yuku upgrade process.
Have others had similar problems? I am aware of at least one instance. In my case, we discovered that the old 4-digit password no longer suffices for the new
If you have problems, you need to go to the Yuku Help facility. You will need to register separately with them. Once you have a password for the Help service, you can correspond usefully with the people who run this free service.
To be clear: This Forum was created by our Australian friend Matthew Gear using the free EZ-Board service, which is now absorbed into another free service called Yuku. The overall layout of the board (now much improved) is entirely in the hands of Yuku. Pop-up and banner advertisements come from Yuku and have no direct connection with the Miklos Rozsa Society. Most of us can suppress these ads (at least the most annoying pop-ups) by using the tools supplied with our own browsers. The Society can also pay for totally ad-free service. We have done so at certain periods and may do so again in the future. Right now, we are uncertain as to the need for that upgraded service. It is clear that many users are fine with the status quo.
