The original publisher has unearthed a significant stock of the original paperback of the first edition. First, let me offer this summary of the three
versions of Rozsa's memoir:
First edition, 1982. Hardcover, 224 pages, heavily illustrated throughout. Published in the U.K. by Midas Books of
Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Distributed in the U.S.A. by Hippocrene Books of New York.
Paperback version, 1984. Issued by The Baton Press (which had bought Midas Books) in the U.K. only. It is identical to the original except for the soft cover. ISBN 0859361411
Second edition, 1989. Hardcover, 256 pages. Published in the U.SA. by Wynwood Press of New York. This edition adds a final chapter ("Into the Eighties"). It also omits most of the c. 200 photographs in the original, although the remaining photo selection, which is restricted to an eight-page insert, includes a couple of new pictures. The text is reset, and the whole book is printed on inferior paper, which today shows some yellowing.
